Here is the complete content from the president's announcement:
Dear Team—
I understand you all just completed your gathering - I hope you’re as excited as I am with the good news. Previously I shared you all a message, I expressed the following: “I am confident in this team. You all are some of the most motivated and talented creators we have had the opportunity to partner with - and we’re eager for that relationship to persist.”
Given your hard work and versatility, particularly over the last year, you continue to prove that.
The gamer responses from last autumn’s Project ETHOS playtest was enlightening. It confirmed the potential of a roguelike shooter but told us we still had improvements to make. It highlighted the need for a more distinct vision.
The progress is encouraging to see how far you’ve come. You embraced the input to heart and reimagined Project ETHOS with a revitalized direction - one that’s positioned to deliver on its potential to our players.
The trust in this project strengthens every day. To boost the outstanding development you’ve made, It is a pleasure to introduce Ben Brinkman as the incoming Director of 31st Union. After some time of discussions, he starts with us on next week.
Ben’s guidance and expertise in the competitive gaming space is considerable, having devoted the last 15 years developing and overseeing some of the most popular franchises in gaming, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, and most recently, the battle royale hit.
Let’s together in greeting Ben soon. We are all excited to persist seeing the evolution of Project ETHOS in the time to follow.
